Overview

The Druk Path is Bhutan’s most accessible multi-day trek — four days of ridge-line walking between Paro and Thimphu, past a string of alpine lakes, without the altitude or logistics of a full expedition trek. Camping gear, a cook team and a trekking guide are all arranged; you carry a day pack, and mules carry the rest.

Trip Highlights

A chain of high-altitude lakes, including Jimilangtsho

Views of Jomolhari on clear days from the higher camps

Jele Dzong and Phajoding Monastery, both perched above the tree line

Yak herders’ summer camps along the route

Descending directly into Thimphu on foot
